Printed Duvet Loops
Convenient duvet loops in all four corners of our comforter help to keep it from shifting inside your duvet cover. Securing your comforter inside a duvet cover is as easy as attaching these loops to your duvet using clips or ribbon ties, depending on your individual duvet cover's design.
Helpful Hint: To easily insert your comforter into a duvet cover start by turning your duvet cover inside out. Next, place your comforter on top and attach duvet loops to the cover. Finally, turn the comforter and duvet cover right side out and you're done!
Pacific Coast® White Goose Down
White goose down is the soft insulating material found on the breast of a goose. Unlike feathers that have a quill, down has no hard elements. Considered one of Mother Nature's best insulators, a down cluster is a light and fluffy three dimensional spherical puff with multiple filaments that expand to trap air - giving white goose down bedding its signature loft and cozy, embracing warmth.
When used in comforters, down allows air to circulate around you contributing to a comfortable environment and deep, sound sleep. When used in pillows, down provides soft adjustable comfort that conforms to your changing sleep positions.
Pacific Coast® white goose down is carefully sorted and selected to ensure that only the fluffiest clusters are used.
Sewn Through Box
In our traditional sewn through box design, the top and bottom fabric layers of the comforter or blanket are sewn or quilted together in a large grid pattern. This design feature keeps the down in place and prevents it from shifting from one box to another so you can enjoy all over warmth and comfort.
Barrier Weave® 100% Cotton
Our bedding products are made with a unique, tightly woven fabric weave that is specially finished to keep the down and feathers from sneaking through the fabric. This leak proof fabric is finer, softer and more durable for lasting comfort and easy care.
Batiste cotton is a super lightweight fabric with a fine texture and silky-soft feel. This traditional European type weave is 30% lighter than comparable thread count fabrics and this inherent, lightweight quality means the down clusters are less compressed by its weight so they can loft more fully. This exquisite fabric makes our Batiste comforter wonderfully light and fluffy with a graceful, elegant drape.
Comfort Lock® Border
This Pacific Coast® comforter features our distinctive Comfort Lock® three-sided border system designed to hold the down in the center, over your sleep area instead of shifting to the bottom and edges. Evenly spaced cross stitches within the border work to keep the down in place giving the border its fluffy, well-filled look. Instead of wasting down on the sides and bottom of your bedding like ordinary comforters, Comfort Lock® allows us to use the down much more efficiently to provide you with cozy warmth.
