Not as expected
I received this comforter yesterday and took it out of the package today, it looks extremely thin and I don't believe it will fill out my duvet cover. I also noticed on the tag that it states 75% down, not 100% down fill. This is not stated on the site. For this price, I want the comforter to be filled with 100% down, not 25% some other material. Web site and packaging also states made in the US. The tag states that the comforter cover is made in China.
Not pleased with the item and sending it back.

Fluffy, Warm and Light!
I agonized over which comforter to buy. We wanted a lightweight but warm and fluffy comforter. This one has plenty of fill in each box without any seepage to the edges. It is not heavy at all but still keeps us warm but not hot. I do wish the size was a little wider width as we have a 17 in mattress and this is about 2 inches short of a perfect fit. Overall, we are delighted with our choice.

I LOVE this comforter
I bought this comforter back in Oct. 2008 after staying in a hotel about 2 blocks from Harrahs in New Orleans that was using Pacific Coast comforters.
Back in 2008 it was only $203.99 for the full/queen. Not even 5 years later and the price has pretty much doubled! I see now they've added a blue navy cord trim too?? Mine didnt have that and that's whats stopping me from buying a king size now for our bed. We have the queen on our guest bed but I still sometimes use it on our king just because I love the feeling of it!!
Ive bought other down comforter but they're sort of scratchy and not as fluffy as this. The 500 thread count is so soft and is cold feeling on the outside which I love because I usually sleep with one leg out over the top for comforter. : )
We keep out house at or below 70 and this comforter is just right. Im telling you its the best down comforter out there..PERIOD!! If youre looking for a down comforter look no further. Its pricey but well worth it.

Comfort and quality
After doing some research we finally decided on this comforter. We were not disappointed with our choice. The quality appears to be excellent. The few inches of difference that label it as "oversized" didn't seem like that big of a deal to me initially, but I must admit that those few inches make a huge difference for my wife and myself. We will never get a "standard" size comforter again. For us, a duvet cover for this comforter is a must as well. Having to dry clean the comforter was always a big drawback for us, but having the machine washable duvet cover will allow us to have a lot more time between drycleaning. We purchased the duvet cover from here as well. The cover is made to fit the comforter, and the quality appears to be quite good as well. The biggest drawback is that it is a real chore to get the comforter inside the duvet cover. My wife got a good chuckle watching me fitting the comforter inside the duvet cover.

Excellent for Year round use
This is a very luxurious comforter and great for year round use as described. The only complaint is it;s not warm enough for the price. I live in northern california where even during the summer we can have pretty cold foggy nights and I need to upgrade to a warmer level.

Oversize comforter looks better on a king size bed
Most standard King comforters are too small for modern King size mattresses. This one fits perfectly and is very comfortable in terms of overall temperature. This is my 4th down duvet from Pacific Coast and their quality is excellent.

I swear we sleep better
Love everything about this comforter. It is the perfect weight and provides great warmth, especially for those of us who don't like to dress in layers for bed. I swear we sleep better with this comforter and the width is nice for two people.

Good Bye Winter :(
The only reason I'm sorry to see winter go is now I have to put my comforter away. The lightweight, cozy warmth it provides is heaven. I would find any excuse to go to bed early just so I could get all cozy and read my books. Moving from sunny and warm California to the Pacific Northwest I needed the added warmth that down can provide. Also having a Tempurpedic bed, I am not able to have an electric blanket making down the obvious choice. My husband is a "blanket hog" so the over-sized comforter made perfect sense. Until next winter........
