Slumber Core® All Down Pillows
Just not firm enough for me - flattened much too quickly
I sooooo wanted to love this pillow and have it be the one to put a stop to the forever search for the "right pillow." Unfortunately, it was not, and I've returned it. I'm a 61 year old woman of average size and have a bone spur in my neck. I have a graveyard of pillows that also didn't work, so recently did more careful research on pillows. I found that most professionals working with persons with neck discomfort #for whatever reason# recommended down pillows that were firm support for under the neck, yet offered a comfortable amount of softness to make it a dreamy sleep. This pillow was so nice for the first few nights, but within a week I had to bunch it up, ball it up and endlessly plump to keep it from going flat by morning. The last night I slept with it, I woke up with my head at a downward angle on a flattened pillow and neck pain. At that point, I simply gave up and returned it. I'm afraid for those of us who require a firmer yet comfortable, fluffy pillow, it would require SO much down and feathers to keep the pillow firmer that it would be incredibly heavy AND very costly. This is a wonderful pillow for those who prefer flatter pillows with very soft to medium fill, which is why I gave it four stars and a recommendation. I wish I'd paid more attention to the reviews here that stated the pillow went too flat for them.... So my search continues and I'm moving on to down alternative pillows on another website. Good luck, everyone!

Not supportive enough
I thought with the dual chamber design I would get support for my neck. Unfortunately, that was not the case. It flattened as soon as I put my head down. I think I try the double down pillows instead.

A great idea, but...
This pillow is on the right track but does not have enough support and still flattens too much. The dual chambers need a stronger center support for the neck in my opinion.

If I want firm I go toward the middle; soft on the edges!

No more neck pain
I debated a long time before spending this much money on pillows but I've been having problems with neck pain. I had also heard about problems with feathers shedding from down pillows and wasn't interested in that. This is a very comfortable pillow and there are no signs of feathers anywhere. I no longer wake up with neck pain or have neck problems during the day.

I needed a pillow that kept its support under my neck whether I slept on my side or on my back, yet I love down pillows. This is finally it. I have other Pacific Coast pillows but as comfortable as they were, the neck support didn't last all night. This is a very firm pillow but you still feel the soft comfort of the down. Love it!

My husband had a pinched nerve in his neck. The doctor couldn't do much for him, except suggest buying a down pillow. He said down pillows help alleviate the tension in your neck while sleeping. I searched online for the best reviews for down pillows, and I came across Pacific Coast. I ordered a standard down pillow for a side sleeper. My husband loves it! It took approximately 8 days for his neck to stop hurting. It's been two months since I bought the pillow, and he still finds it comfortable and he is still without neck pain! My daughter has been complaining about her neck lately, so I'm ordering another one for her.
